Think how the page I am looking for will be thinking. That is one thing I did not know before. It has changed my opinion in that instead of writing a whole paragraph, if I know the definition of the word, I will just go ahead and write it. I will use it when I need more explanation of a word that I have an idea what it is but do not know its definition.
Hi Yvonne,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your post about Google...I am not sure that I understand what you have written here. Are you talking about using Google to find definitions of words, or to find synonyms, or both, or something else?
Professor Wexelbaum
More like that. Like synonyms.
ReplyDeleteThank you--now I understand. Remember the tilda (~) will allow you to retrieve results on Google that have synonyms or related terms for the keyword that you typed in. Also, if you click on "Related searches", Google will provide some other phrases that may be helpful to use in searching for information on a topic.
